Welcome Neighbor!
How exciting, my first blog! In all honesty, I hope you find this a place to relax, laugh, learn, and read about what has happened over the past day at WCQR and/or my life in general.
As of now, I'm sipping a cup of coffee made from some of the best in the world...Tully's. You can only get it on the West Coast in stores, but I have friends...good friends...who spoil me with a shipment of it every so often. God has blessed e-commerce. The house blend is my favorite, and it's one of the only coffee's that my wife, Meredith, actually enjoys without having to doctor it up at all. Okay, enough on coffee...don't get me started, don't even get me started...
We had brand new staff pictures taken yesterday! They look faboo, too. Thanks so much Larry! You'll get to see them soon.
There's so much going on with the station, and it is quite fun. I hope you've been keeping up with the Casting Crowns songs for the write 'em down contest. Tomorrow at noon, you can submit your entry, and believe me you'll want to. Mike Perry told me yesterday that they have sold over 3000 tix! Might be sold out before we know it.
Plus, there's Dora coming to Viking Hall! Brush up on your Dora trivia, and answer some questions, and you could be headed to see her live!
And for the NASCAR fan, you could go see the Blue Lizard Poll Day, and the Sharpie Mini 300 for free!!!! All of this fun stuff is at www.wcqr.org.
Well, have a great day!
Chalmer
