Eat Your Veggies

If your kids don't want to eat their vegetables...keep trying!

New research has found that children largely inherit their taste for high-protein foods like meat and fish from you. However, a liking for vegetables and puddings was less likely to be fixed Rather, it is more the result of the menu provided to them. It was not clear why environmental factors were more influential in determining preferences for fruit, vegetables and puddings...Experts are saying it may be down to the greater variety of choice available in these categories - or how you show enthusiasm or distaste for them. So, smile and eat that spinach :)

PS-The study also found that girls were more likely to enjoy vegetables than boys.

Have a great dinner!
