Black Beans and Worship

HI!
Hope you enjoyed your potato chips last night. I, fortunately/unfortunately, got stuck with only a handful of corn tortilla chips...I was really hankering for some Homestyle Chips, but alas, I didn't have the chance to run to Cootie Browns. No worries, Mexican food always satifies the deepest longings in my tummy.

Speaking of Mexican food, do you know Lisa Silcox??!?!? Lisa is from Abingdon, and is the new cool. Forget American Idol, the Amazing Race or Survivor. This is the way to win a million dollars. Cooking! Yup, Lisa is a finalist for this year's Pilsbury Bake-Off, and has the chance to win a million dollars and some new upscale kitchen appliances! She'll travel to Orlando on Saturday for the Bake-Off and will know the results of the contest on Sunday. We're rooting for you and your Black Bean Cake Salad with Cilantro Lime Cream, Lisa!!!!

If you'd like to try your hand at Lisa's creation...here's the recipe! Chips? ;)

In other news, I'm looking forward to my evening. I'll be be travelling to University Parkway Baptist Church in Johnson City to help lead worship music for a group of volunteers. These volunteers will be answering phones for the Billy Graham Telecast. They'll be talking with people all over the country about Jesus. I pray for God to really bless our time together and to let the volunteers know that God will move in them to speak Truth, Love, and Grace in every single situation. I am honored to even play a part.

"All of you is more than enough for all of me. For every thirst, every need, you satisfy me with your love and all I have in you is more than enough."
--Chris Tomlin "Enough"

We'll be singing that tonight.

Chalmer
